Has anyone installed a 4 bbl intake on a 300 with later style split exhaust manifolds? Were any problems encountered? Clifford Performance's website states that headers are required for their manifolds to fit, is the same true for Offenhauser? I bought split manifods, and want to make sure that a 4bbl intake is compatable before I buy one. Thanks.
77 F150 - I am running a Clifford water heated intake with a holley 350 2 barrel and split exhaust. The clifford intake is just a touch thicker than the exhaust and the only problem I have had is with the larger non cast iron washers I attempted to use to get more coverage. Kept loosening up - DUH! Put the cast iron washers back on and been fine. Do not know about the offy.
FYI - I had other problems with a bog off the line - had to go to the 50 cc acel pump - just jumping up the shooters was not enough.
