My reverse lights stay on in all gears including park when truck is running or ignition is on, also my back-up sensors are not working and can not be turned on from dash button and warning buzzer stays quiet. The truck is equipped with a slip-in sanding box used for snow removal service. The sander box over hangs rear bumper which trips the back-up sensors. The system was working normaly up till now can any one point me in the right direrection?

You have a "digital transmission range sensor" on the left side of the tranny if you have an automatic. You have a "reversing switch" on the tranny if you have a manual. Power comes into these switches on a lightblue/pink wire and leaves to feed the backup lights and trigger the reverse warning system on a black/pink.
I think there is something wrong with this switch, or if these wires are bundled together going to the tranny, they may have melted together from getting on the exhaust, or some other scenario like that.
