need help with e-fans

ok, i know this topic has probably been beaten to death, but how many people here have them on their trucks? I read a lot of topics in the 04-08 section and people love them, but how do you guys like them for the 97-03?
Im highly considering the fan kit from bob, but im not sure about installing it, mainly the temp probe and how to set it up for the right temp.
any help is appreciated
thanks

I've had Troyers dual 16" kit for around 4-5 years now, it is the best mod I have done, didn't give me all the power a tuner did but it gave me some power AND 1.8mpg, no other mod has ever increased mileage.

I used them on my 98 ranger supercab 4x4 with 4.0 and it worked great and I gained 2 mpg! I just put the heat probe against the radiator and it had an adjustable temp control from 170 to 220 I just ran it at 180 and never had any trouble!
