Go to the Syn as soon as you want. Some day you may need some "Hot Shot Secret". You will find info here on that. The additive should go into the fuel tank. Read what guys like. Everyone seems to have a favorite. Good Luck

If you do happen to use the Lucas oil additive, only use the synthetic version, the standard stuff is too thick for the injectors. I had talked to a tech support guy from Lucas last year when I first got my truck and that was the reply I got.
