WHY WOULD NOT PUSHING THE GO PEDAL REDUCE YOUR MILEAGE? ARE YOU TRYING TO COAST TO SAVE FUEL?

i wondered maybe EBPV. could be malfunctioning. do you here a whistle noise like EBPV? or an engine braking sounds, or is it more like brakes actually dragging? what rpm's, how hard of deceleration?

the ebpv is gutted its not that i have a huge like whistle when i let off at wot idk it might be the brakes ill look at them, but ya as soon as i let of the gas it wants to slow down and not coast to much im just wondering if all these trucks do this my dads 02 coasts great??

My truck does slow significantly when it downshifts from OD to third and third to second as I slow down. I thought that's what they are supposed to do. No??
