Paint Recall
Was there any way to find out if there was ever a paint recall for 2001's and the like? My 2001 that I just bought used, has these little "cracks" all over the hood, mostly towards the windshield cowl. Is this hood aluminum also?

We had a vandelism problem with our '01 Super Crew a few years ago, and when they repainted the top, they goofed up on the clear coat. The FORD dealership just last week, redid the clear. I even ask them if there was a recall on their paint for that particular year, and the answer was NO !!
Lucky for us, the rest of the truck is o.k. The problem was in the "rain gutters", as they got it on too thick, and it blistered.
