2001 Expedition rear wiper

2001 Expedition rear wiper
My rear wiper worked before my liftgate window crashed and had to be replaced. Is there a disable switch or reset switch for these wipers? If so, where is it located? The washer works but no wiper.

With the wiper on the “on” position feel the motor to see if it's humming or working.<O
If nothing is happening disconnect the factory wire that connect to the wiper motor and check for power with a volt meter. If you don’t have power check fuses or wire for cuts or damages, exc.<O
If you have power to the motor then try using another power sources to give wiper motor direct power to see if it works. Now if you have power on factory wire and wiper motor is working when power directly. Then replace your multifunction stalk. Known problem item with our trucks. And go from there.<O

THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS. . I lightly tapped the wiper using a rubber mallet and it started working this morning. . good thing too as we are finally getting rain here. The rear wiper had never been a issue before, so it puzzled me with its not working.
