28 outside this morning she fired right up! i always had cold start problems new GPR last year still had to plug it in! then had to replace #2 injector so i got a new set of stock glow plugs and installed them at the same time!so now i can pickup all my extension cords!just a little FYI!
great that you got er fixed. i didnt replace gpr but i have new GP's and 5w40 so far no problems starting.
im going to get that monster Stancor gpr and get it over with.
just a little smoke out the tail pipe every now and then on startup! ill give it some drive time to see if it cleans it self up!
mine has a little smoke at cold start it didn't use to have, but figured after eight years may have a glow plug or two not up to par,but it still starts good in the teens
not going to worry about it right now
question...... when i start my truck (after its warm), if i let the glow plugs cycle properly it takes a few seconds to start. However if i turn the key on directly and just start it it fires right up. Whats up with that? i have the new stancor GPR, i have replaced the o-ring in the hpop. what could this be?
