Disable 2000 Expy for holidays
Gentlemen,
What's a good way to disable my 2000 Expy?
On the 79 F250, I just yank out the rotor - not too many vehicle thieves just happen to have a rotor for a 351M in their toolbox. But the 2000 Expedition????

Pull the wheels/tires off and leave it sitting on blocks.
Disconnect or remove the innercia switch.
Remove the starter, or the battery cables.
unplug the fuel pump.
Theres plenty of creative ways to disable it.

With gas prices I can't imagine someone wanting to steal your 2000 Expy. 
Just put the average MPG on the windshield. That'll keep everyone away. That's how I disable my Excursion.

unplug the start wire from the soliniod run that wire to inside the cab contect to a universal horn button(less then 5 bucks at a parts store) then run the wire back to the soliniod,tuck the wires and button under the carpet just to the left of the brake pedal. when ya wana start it just step on it while your turnin over the key
