very strange leak

well, this is a strange one. I went out to my truck yesterday morning and there was a small puddle of antifeeze on the driveway. The odd part is the fluid is not under any hoses or any obvious sources of antifreeze, but rather under the bell housing of the transmission where is bolts up to the block. I had a look and found it leaking from the rear oil pan seal (it is not dripping from anywhere, this is its point of orgin) So where is this coming from? I know my oil pan gasket leaks a little...but it leaks oil..not antifreeze. Also, what is leaking appears to be straight coolant, not a mix of oil and coolant and there is no coolant in the oil. Anyone have a clue about this one..any help is appreciated. Perhaps a rear main seal...but that would be oil leakage right? I'm stumped

Thanks
