Computer controlled engines like you have in your truck dont respond well to the old ways of edging a little more power from your engine . Check the Online Store here at FTE for info on a computer chip for your engine . Helping the engine breath & exhaust do more for performance than fiddling with emissions equipment or the timing .

Has anyone in here ever put a chip in an i6?? if so what were the results, noticable power or just not worth it. i hace already removed all the cats and put a thrush muffler in there place, i seemed to help, i just want a little more, but doesn't everybody???

I tried a Jet Stage II chip, and I will never, ever, use anything from Jet again.
There were several issues with that particular manufacturer, but one that is common across the board: All chips are designed to increase both timing advance and enrichen the fuel map, both good things, but they do it only above 2,500 RPM (for emissions reasons).
Question you have to ask yourself: realistically, how much much time do you spend running your motor 2,500 RPM and above?
The best single improvement you can make is a low-restriction cat-back exhaust system.
