Ahh, Shane...didn't realize this was your screen name
I've ran the Regen-off 150RWHP tune now for about 1600 miles with the truck fully straight-piped. Mileage is up signficantly.
Have been beta-testing the 200RWHP tune for the past two weeks- thus far, not the slightest issue other than one harsh downshift when the transmission was still adapting.
Overall, other than warranty concerns, these trucks have so far proven themselves more reliable with modifications than the previous generations. I have been pounding the crap out of it for some time now.
I'm curious as to what happens when you go to get the vehicle inspected. Down here in some countys of Texas we have to have emmissions testing. If the cat and the DPF is cut away how will this effect the testing. In other countys there is no testing but would the truck still pass the inspection if the cat and the DPF were cut away?
Down here if the veichle is over 10,000 pounds you are smog exempt and dont have to get inspections. If you have a 250 it wont fly but you can register a 350 at 10,001.

Thanks for all the helpfull information Matt, its nice to talk to people who are knowledgable about there products
I guess my question is what does removing the dpf do to your warranty?? If it voids it is it worth it?? Also someone post some mpg numbers with it deleted.

Yes it can affect the warranty, the reason is because you are tampering with the emission certified components. Since the these componets effect engine operation they can void your powertrain warranty. Can they void your entire powertrain and bumper to bumper warranty, IMO i say no,but you would probaly have to fight it out wth them.
Is it worth it, thats all up to the person doin it,in my case i bought the truck and i want it the way i want it.
I hvae been running the kemperformance dpf delete w/flashpaq 50 hp tune since 9/10/07 7700 mi. It works awesome. mpg is empty 10 city 13 hwy towing 8 city 8 hwy. 7k lb trailer. No regens is great, especially towing on hills. never shifts!

???? My truck gets way better than that with Regen! Im extremely skeptic about KEM Performance I tried calling the guy and left message after message and he never called me back once! Hey Matt call me about the Flashpaq, I may have to sell the SCT LiveWire sounds like SCT has totally dropped on the ball on the Custom Tuning Software.

Those are horrible MPGs, I think theres a pretty good chance your truck has now gone into constant regen. There are people getting higher MPG highway with the regen still on
