More Avatar woes!

I know others have written but I too am having trouble with posting an avatar and uploading images to a gallery.

Re: avatar - my image was 60x45 pixels and 7.91K but I got a message saying the file was too big. I tried 45x34 pixels and 4.48K but same story - too big!! The guidelines say 60x60 and up to 8K is acceptable. How can my files be too big???

I'm using the upload from my computer method. Is that the issue?Must all pics be hosted elsewhere on a website?

No they get attached via file upload to the FTE cache .

There are some issues going on right now with the new IB servers.

I suggest.....Just be patient and keep trying
