Hey there, I just bought some new Polished Aluminum Ford racing valve covers for my dads christmas present.
I just have a few questions...
It has no hole for the breather, but they came with a breather and there are 4 circular indentations on the inside of the valve covers. Do I just drill one of them out to correct size?
And they have no oil fill, and I notice most aftermarket valve covers don't have one. How do I fill it up? I noticed the location where the stock oil fill would be had the circular indentation and some bosses for screws, (the valve covers came with screws plus some sort of plate) I can't check now since the gift it wrapped.
Not sure about your valve cover set up, but on mine both holes came drilled on pass side: pcv valve toward back of motor and driver side: open breather toward front of motor. One side had a breather/pcv and other side had the open breather. I fill it through the open breather side. I would say that you drill out the circle to the right size. Don't forget to install the rubber grommet. The valve covers should probably come with instructions.

A 14" Mr. Gasket Chrome Air cleaner. It is a christmas present as well, I just wish we would have ordered a Ford Racing one to match the Valve covers. I will suggest exchanging it to order a ford racing one, I don't mind.
Looks like this. Just not a 3"

The FORD air cleaner wing nut is by far the most expensive nut I have ever bought, but it is the perfect addition to the valve covers and air cleaner combo.
Hey, do you guy's know where I could get some new fasteners to fasten these down? I noticed the 2 rear bolt holes come out of the top of the covers so they will need to be much longer.
