I've been thinking about getting one of these for my F-350 since it seems to be the best one out there in terms of quality and ride improvement. Most places seem to be back ordered on these. Anyone know when they might be back in stock? How long is the typical install time?
I don't know the answer to your question. However, when I was in the market for a leveling kit Donohoe was also out of stock with no information on when they would be shipping again. That was in July this year.
I went with the Bilstein leveling coils and shocks instead and I'm very pleased! The coils and shocks were delivered and installed the day after Desolate Motorsports placed the order from Bilstein.
Don't mind at all. I paid $1,000 for the leveling coils, 5125 HD shocks (4), including installation and the Desolate guys also installed the Firestone Ride Rite air bags I already had. The Bilstein kit was a hundred bucks less than the Donohoe kit.
I also ended up ordering and having an alignment shop install a Donohoe panhard bar since the leveling coils lift causes the front axle to offset about 1/4". I picked that up from Kartek Off-Road in Corona.
I dropped my truck off at 8:00 AM and picked it up at 5:00 PM from Desolate.
I just got the donahoe kit but it took over two months to get, seems like their having problems with manufacturing product. they wouldnt respond to emails or phone calls.
That being said, the product is top notch.
i think that nothing looks better than a leveled out super duty with 35's, i think thats how they should come stock. i bought the DR kit second hand from a guy who had it on his truck for around a year. perfect condition conditon and i needed new shocks all the way around anyways so i bought it for $250.
(not trying to hi jack)
but has anyone installed this personallly? i have the .pfd from DR and the instructions look pretty good. how hard was it, and how long did it take? also the guy didn't have the alignment cams that came with the kit, i have found them for sale for $100, does that sound right or is there something else i can do/use?
I just put on the kit last weekend,I just followed the pdf directions and it went together really nice looks good to. just ordered 35" toyo m/ts on 20's cant wait to see what its going to like.
Kepler-
how would i know if i need them or not. my buddy said it would never allign w/o them but i have heard others, like you, say they didn't even need them. should i just install the kit and see how it drives? can that "mess" anything up? THANKS!
I was looking at the 2.5" leveling kit from DR also. I hate to hear that they are having so many proplems with shipping product. I have heard that DR is the best on the market. Any thoughts?

Take it to an alignment shop and see what they can do! I had to call several shops until I found one that had a rack large enough to fit my truck. It's a Bear Alignment shop that's been in business for 40 years. My truck has 17" wheels, some shops won't align trucks with 20" and larger.
The alignment shop changed the cams to align the truck properly, they had the correct cams in stock. No problems to date.

Very nice. Please post some pics when you get them on there.
35's will fit without any rubbing with the leveling kit?
