Cool Greetings from Pickering

Hello folks. New to the forum. I found it the other day while I was searching through Popup explorer which is a forum dedicated to popup trailers mainly and camping in general.

03 Ford Explorer V8. Bought slightly used (Off lease) last year to pull our tent trailer. No problems with the beast YET, except for the rear A/C. seems the lines have rotted out already. haven't had it fixed yet. I think I'll forgo the $1200.00 repair and cap off the rear lines to the A/C. Use front A/C exclusive.
But that's a spring repair....

If anyone else out there camps I'd love to here from you. Tell me about your setup. Anything in particluar I should know about pulling with the 03????

Cheers and have a great holiday.

Welcome to the forum and the ontario chapter.

Sorry to hear about the problems with your new truck but with the amount of knowledge the folks on here have you'll be able to get it taken care of and then some.

Welcome to FTE Ian! That sucks about the Explorer A/C. Maybe check out the Explorer forum here and see if someone has had that problem. My wife and I go camping sometimes in the summer. We have a small popup trailer. It is old....from the late 70s I believe. But we got it cheap and it does the job.

Enjoy the site and ask any questions if you need to.
