Manual Steering Conversion from Power
Hey guys,
I've been researching a swap for my '76 power steering assembly which is leaking, whining, and losing it's power. I want to swap in the manual steering gear, but I'm having trouble fiinding out whether or not I need a steering column to fit the manual box, or whether I can just keep my power steering column I've got now.
Anyone know? I think any manual steering box from 65-79 will work with my truck, and I know I need the PItman arm as well, but I'm having a hard time finding a consensus here on the column.
