New tires

I just got my new tires. 38 x 15.50-R15 Mickie Thompson ATZ's. They look great. I remember a thred a few months back tire sizes. These measure 37" tall on a 14" wide wheel. I guess thats about pare for the course. I had heard that M/T lied the least. But I guess their all the same.

I wouldn’t say that M/T lied it really has to do with you wheel width if you put those same tires on a 7” or 8" wide wheel they would probably measure more then 38"

Yep they are pretty much like lumber a 2x4 isn't really a 2" by 4" I want to see
some 15.50 on 7" rims, I got a 12.50 on a steel 7" and it looks crazy!!

Actually, the recomended rim width is 12 to 14 inches. At least if you get a rough cut 2x4 it measures correct. I still dont agree with it.

Did you measure the tire before it was mounted? I just got 33"x12.5" Dick Cepek Crusher's (now made by MT, or Cooper, however you want to look at it), and they are exactly 33" tall.
