Transmission Problems
My truck has developed a shutter between the passing gear, and the next gear when it shifts(lowers engine rpm). The truck is a 03 SD 250 5.4 auto. What can I do about this? The fluid is original, and the truck has 62,xxx on it. Will that help, or do I have more damage? This all started after I was pulling a heavy load, and had the truck on the floor trying to get it up to highway speeds. It shifted real hard, and the shutter started. I am wondering about my torque converter? Thnaks!

Change the trans fluid. It probably will help it. Either take it somewhere that can do a complete fluid exchange, or you can do it yourself with these directions:
