On a stock engine, all bigger injectors are likely to do is confuse the PCM and run way rich. Bigger injectors do not in themselves make more power, they provide more fuel if the engine requires it. You increase power with camshafts, head work and compression increases. If you do those things the engine will need bigger injectors.
My cousins used to drag race with turbocharged 300's and were pulling out about 450HP (dual turbo's, custom intake, etc. etc. etc.). They still have 2 complete engines sitting in the shop.....just wish I could talk them out of one for my truck. LOL
73rancherogt you really need to place some pictures of this setup for us man! I would love to take a look at your work and duplicate it! I love my 300 and I'm sure if I got my hands on a turbo for this thing I would go wild! Crymanies sakes I could tow and damn near haul anything I wanted to (rear axle being the weight limiter here)! I can see it now, the wide eye stares I would get from people as I drove by with a big ole load in the back and my truck driving like its not even having to work!!! WOOOO HOOOO! HOOON DOGGY!
As I recall, one of the turbos that works well for mildly juicing an I-6 comes off an SVO Mustang. Easy to find rebuilt at most turbo places and you can still get them in junkyards sometimes.
