Question Power Seat Relay Question

Can anyone explain to me how the relay works on heated/power seats? I am trying to install a set of 2005 King Ranch seats into my 99 F-250 that did not have power. The Passenger side looks pretty straight forward but the Driver side has a white with red stripe wire going to the heat switch and it is spliced to als supply power to a relay under the seat. There is also a Red with I believe black stripe going to the relay as well. From what I can tell, that means there are 2 wires with power going to the relay. Is that correct or is the red wire an output wire that goes to the passenger side white with red stripe wire?

Help!!

The diagrams I am looking at show a red/black is coming from a 30 amp fuse, and is hot all the time power, and feeds the climate controlled seat module. My diagram also shows a hot in run power wire that is lightblue/pink feeding the module also. I can't seem to find a white/red wire.

According to factory schematics, the 2005 models had heated seats integrated into the EATC automatic temperature control climate control system and did not have individual seat switches. Are you sure these came from a 2005 King Ranch?

They are King Ranch Seats that have a build date of 2005 on the bottom. They may be from an Excursion, F-250 or F-350. I bought them on e-bay and he had bought them on e-bay and didn't know for sure. The wiring colors I gave above are whats on the seat. I think Franklin2 has the right idea, I was wondering if the drivers heated seat supplied power to the passenger heated seat via the relay on the white with red stripe wire attached to the relay on the drivers seat. There are switches in the seat to tuen the heat on and off so I don't know about the climate control.

Homer might be on the right track. Every time I look at the diagram, there are just a few simple wires feeding a very complex module/switch system, which I am assuming is mounted with the seat, or in the seat area.

You might just have the raw seat with the motors and the heating elements without the control circuitry? If this is the case, then you could still rig the power seat options more than likely, if you took a battery charger and experimented with the wires to see what moves what. The heat option may be too complex to wire by hand. You might need some sort of temp feedback circuitry for that.

Red with black goes to fuse panel 20 amps from pin 5 of the relay. Pin 4 of the relay Light blue and pink to fuse panel and 15 amps. White and red from switch splices to white and red from relay pin 1 at the relay and ties to pin 2 of passenger switch.

I was looking at the wrong model in my initial post. Hopefully this will help.
