i want my engine to be as deep and loud as this 6 can be without alot of the bumble bee sound. Has anyone got a glasspack on this motor. I was thinking about putting a glasspack then split the pipe with two pipes coming at a angle out the back. will this sond good or will it sound like mad hornets. what would a si/do flowmaster 40 series sound like. what does everyone have on thiers. Sorry for length but i am planning on doing this very soon and need some input. thanks for any help
You don't say whether you have a catalytic converter or not, but having had glasspacks on both types over the years, With a converter they're not bad, without a converter, it sounds like a jake brake on a longggggggggggg downhill run. I like the big walker dynomax myself, it's meaty sounding, but won't drive you nuts on long hauls.
i got one converter i think it is a 1982. How long of glasspacks should i get. i hear the longer the quieter so should what length should i get. i was thinking about 15-16
