for the most part...they have some things that could use work, but for the most part i think they're pretty tough!!

Got the other 4 in this afternoon. She start's as good as ever now. You can sure tell they're drawing more amps on the meter now. I must have been down a few even when I first got the truck. Can't really complain though. $120 total cost and she's all good.

While I was at it I also swiped the CD deck from the now dead Nissan and put it in the PSD. Much better.

You're good to 40 below now and tunes to boot. I just noticed this morning that I got a speaker on the right side that sounds pretty wonkey.

replace them with some good 3-ways, then a single 10 inch sub to carry the lows and save your speakers!!

The 78 can take 6.5" speakers in the doors from the factory. I don't know if a 10" sub would fit behind the seat. Now if it was a supercab...

That actually does work. Sort of. WHen I still had a cap on it, I took the front bench seat that I'd taken out of the cab and bolted it into the front of the box. Seat belts and all. The kids loved it. Only used it in Summer though. Maybe I'll do it again next summer.
