manual hubs
My 2000 F250 superduty will not lock into 4 wheel drive. Transfer case shows it is in 4H and the manual hubs click in but no 4 dheel drive. I have heard the factory lockout hubs don't last but I only have 82000 on this. Is there a fix on these or am I looking at new hubs? Which after market hubs are the best?

well, are you axles spinning?, that would be a good indications if that your hubs are broke.....but if your front dshaft isn't spinning then your tcase is bad, or if the front dshaft is sprinning and axles are not, look into your diff.....easy!

its a matter of personal preference....ive tried them all, MY personal favorite is the MM premiums......others like the warn premiums etc etc....

All it takes is one hub not engaging to keep the front axle from driving. Lock both hubs, shift the transfer case into 4hi, and with the truck not running, jack up one wheel at a time and try rotating it by hand. If you can rotate it, that hub is not engaging.
