i have a 01 X with 85k on it and had the same noise coming from the passenger side front when i accelerated and turned, basically when you are torquing the frame a bit, well after spraying the whole front end with WD40 and tightening everything the problem was the front body mount bushing on the pass side, just pull back the carpet on the pass side and you will see a hole with a cavity and in that cavity is a body mount bushing, just loosen the bolt and then crawl under vehicle with a pry bar and pry on the bushing while squirting the **** out of it with wd40, put bolt back in from top and that should do it, hope it works for ya, see ya jeff in okc

Jeff,
Thanks so much for your reply. My noise ended up being a loose right front sway bar bushing and a right rear loose shock mount. They just tightened them up and the noise is going. They checked out the rest of the front end and (thankfully!) everything was tight and okay.
