04 Lightning issue...

Guys I was driving my girlfriends 04 Lightning the other day and when I tried to open her up the damn thing was bogging bad, so bad I had to let off the gas and baby it passing another car talk about embarassing ;-( Would you say that it's a fuel starvation problem, possibly something simple like a fuel filter? It's not throwing any check engine light codes or anything.....

Is it stock? If not, what are the mods? How many miles? When was the last time the fuel filter and/or plugs were replaced? Whats the temp there?

Too many variables without knowing these things.

No it's not stock.... It has a diablo chip, lower pulley upgrade and K&N cold air kit. 70,000 miles and couldn't tell you when the plugs and fuel filter was changed. The temps are hovering around 45* down to 16*......

Thanks

First off, I'd change the fuel filter for sure. Also, with it being that cold you could be pegging the MAF, although I dont know what size lower you have on the truck. Has it ever done anything similar in warmer weather? There's still a million and one things it could be. Plugs, T in fuel line, fuel filter, pegged MAF, fuel pumps, Baro sensor, etc just to name a few.
