Maybe my Alzheimer's is kicking in, but I saw an original Star Trek the other day that I didn't remember.
It included Kirk, Spock, Uhuru, and McCoy, but no
- Scotty
- Chekov
- Sulu
Some deal about an identical person in 2 parallel worlds -- of course one was bad -- and it was the one that was supposed to be good. During the show they were attacking engineering -- and the chief was a woman. Also, Spock didn't make any comments about 'logic'
I remember that episode. I can't think of the name of it, but i do remember it. In that alternate universe those people didn't exist..or worked in a different area. I just wish i could remember the name.
This wasn't the mirror mirror episode -- the crew was only in one world -- there were two dudes who kept switching. Maybe Kirk went to the other universe once, but there was no alternate Kirk there.
What caught my attention was the lack of Scotty, Sulu, and Checkov.
I couldn't recall another episode without Scotty, but there seem to be a few.
I only watched it after it was syndicated ( I was in the service during the original). I did watch it every day for years, but I think that they left out some episodes -- and ran others until I can do them word for word ( tribbles anyone?)
