wiper switch delima

hello, kinda a dumb post, but on my 88 f-250, my window wiper switch is bad, while the wipers are going, they stop all of a sudden then start up again, like the circuit is getting hot then cooling down or something similar, but i called the usaul places for a new switch, and there is a big diff in prices, auzone(duracrap) 36.00 oreillys (borg warner) 46.00 dealership 144.00 i do buy motorcraft when possible but this much difference, have not called napa yet but will the cheaper brands work for more than a year or should i just wait to buy motorcraft(yikes)!!! i know it is a easy replacement but every time i buy something again the wife says you just bought that!!!!!!!! you know cause they remember everything. even if 30 years ago........

the 'zone one should be okay..i've had an ignition switch from the 'zone in there for about 4 years now.. seems to be ok.. AVOID Neihoff switches though.. they are CRAP! (usually found at Checker/Schucks/Kragen stores)

Agree...the aftermarket switch should work fine. Check NAPA, Advance, or whatever part stores are in your part of the world, and buy based on price/value.
