PSOM- programmable speedometer/odometer module. It's a computer chip that sits behind the speedo and stores the mileage for your rig. You can pick up a used cluster from a junkyard, but whatever mileage that rig had will now show on your truck. You can also try the vehicle speed sensor (VSS)- its a small sensor mounted on the top of your rear differential that sends the speed signal to the PSOM.
