Vacuum leaks
Full time defrost, Switches to correct mode upon engaging or disengaging ESOF. New wheel bearing assembly. Didn't replace any seals. Plugged vacuum line to replaced side, no difference. Vacuum pump doesn't shut off at all when key is turned to "glow plug" position. Is last one normal? Or should it build pressure and stop. Does'nt feel hot to the touch. Solenoid that controls air travel will slowly lose vacuum and return it to defrost. 4wd is working OK.

Vacume leak somewhere most likely.If not then is probably the solenoid.When i turn my key on the pump operates for a min.or so.seems a little long but i does shut of once it gets its vacume up.yours should also.If not like I said vacum leak somewhere.

No the only things that use vacume on these are the esof and the air defusers.Thats why its so easy to find the leaks.just follw the lines.To make sure its not the hubs just take the lines off them and plug it.If it builds pressure then the problem lies in the hub.Ifm the pump continues to run then just keep eliminating your vacume lines and plug them as you go.If you get to where there are no lines left to plug and it still pumps.Its got to be the diaphram in the pump.unless the solenoid is makeing it continue.I geuss what i'm saying is just keep narrowing it to the sourse.You'll get it
