replacing brake switch

I need a diagram on changing out the brake switch for a 98 ranger. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Should'nt be hard to figure this out, but if you need a manual a 20 buck Haynes will tell you how to do it.

BTW, if the brake lights are not working AND you cant shift out of park, the brake light switch probably is the problem.

the switch is easy look at the brake arm there should be the switch. Pop it off disconnect the connector and reverse the removal for install. no wiring to cut or change.
