Has anyone had any experience with the super springs that can be obtained from superssprings.com or camping world. I hear these can take the place of air bags as far as keeping your load level. I intend on putting a camper on my 2005
F350 and don't want to bother all the time with air bags.
thanks

Used a set on my old F150 and was real pleased. Truck would not squat under load as bad, improved it towing and still rode good. Don't know how they do long term only had them almost 2 years before I sold it.
The thing I don't like about the Timbrens is that they don't do anything until the truck has already squatted quite a bit. Everyone i hear that has them say they are rough.

Yes, that is the very nature of overload springs. The suspension has to squat 1 inch before the overloads start to work.
As for riding rough, if you're weight is on the Timbrens you'll be riding like you're towing, because you are towing. If you don't have a load on your truck, the Timbrens don't touch anything (if they are installed correctly).
I looked at the Timbrens a while ago. I think that the rears have 1" of open space before they touch and the fronts have something like 1" compression when installed correctly. They help to minimize body roll when loaded, as I recall. I just used the snow plow for the first time this season(only used it once last winter), even with the added leaf the front squats quite a bit. I'll have to go back and take another look at them....
Have had Timbrens on my ranger and f-250 for several years and loved them . I will be getting a set for my F 350 dually King Ranch shortly as I tow a gooseneck trailer with a loaded weight of 15000.
