what do you all think...
of this deal. i've emailed the guy and got a price for just the truck alone, seems reasonable. i've asked if he minds if someone stops by to take a look at it. would anyone with some knowledge have a minute or two??

Im not trying to put this on Fom but if he aint busy iam sure he would stop by for yea everyone else is probably to busy to stop by includin me looks like a nice dually how many kms

I`m not real sure but I thinmk this one has been around for a while.
If you are real serious about it I can give`m a call tonite.
The trailer isn`t real heavy duty one but it`s worth something unless you don`t want it and can get a better price on just the truck alone. It would be handy for clean up at the job sites....

the trailer i don't want period. i can get the truck for 2700 obo he says in an email. Fom, i may call him later if i don't get an email pretty quick here. i'd be curious as to the miles on it, the add doesn't say. if you try to call let me know, i'd appreciate it and you know more about them than i do!!

Let me know what happens if you talk to him and we`ll go from there if it sounds good to you. See what he wants for the trailer, we could always sell it later or I might be interested, it has a pair of 6,000 lb axles.

that sounds good Fom. i have no use for a trailer of that type and i'd rather not chance putting out extra money and get stuck with it. we could work something out if you're interested though. i'll let you know how i make out with the phone call.

well, i just called, sounds like she's worked hard all her life. 394000k on it, rebuilt engine/tranny about 65000 ago, the body is getting rough, right now its in the diesel shop getting some work done. doesn't sound good, i think i'll pass on this one.

By the time it comes out of the diesel shop with the cost of the work done to it he`ll be married to it permanently.

well...by the way he was talking, she wasn't treated with kid-gloves, so i'd probably be getting myself into more trouble than necessary. sooner pay more for a truck with a solid track record, and not currently sitting in a shop awaiting work!!!

If i needed a truck like that i would ask what its getting done to it for engine work. The cab cant be that hard to change over, and youd have a reason to have a fresh paint job after.
