Vent switch revisited
New member, found site last nite. Seems to be some "gurus" here. 2000 1T crew 4x4. New wheel bearing assembly week ago, defrost blows all the time no matter what control is on. Thanxs to previous posts, found we didn't put vacuum line back on hub. Vent control works in 4wd, but intermittently. Did not have the problem before replacing bearing. On side note, have had problems getting out of 4Lo, doesn't seem to bother in 4Hi. Related? Every thing else seems to work. Week vacuum pump? Just a vacuum leak? How to tell?
