I`m not planning on selling one of my oldies either anytime soon but I don`t want a blood bath down the road when I do.
I know it`s an expensive hobby but the sport of Kings?
Not really
Tremclad- 50 bucks
sand paper and supplies, body filler sheet metal- 50-100 bucks
12 beer- 20 bucks
didn't work out too bad 8 years ago when I did it last
Get'R'dun
Heck if I didn't have a drinking problem fixing old trucks would cost alot less.
One thing I found out on my 1969 I painted the hood with a Power Fist paint gun HVLC , and what a POS. smitty **** job, did the rest of the truck with a roller and I'm happy.
I did have luck with Devil Bliss though in the past.
I'll admit it though I don't got the patience to do layers of paint then fine sanding I don't need to win car shows, it may be a good gun if used in layers and prob set up properly.
your jobs are pretty decent for what you need them to be Ryan!! i won't say much about them as i'm no bodyman. i figure that i might end up trying my own too after seeing some prices!!!
Ok my new plan though with the 58 I'll be switching to a red/black combo, It is easy but I would have to send the doors in for painting aince the top half is to be red and bottom half black.
