Pulsing lights?
I have problem I have not been able to diagnose.
Replaced my alternator about 5 months ago becuse the old one died. Since then I have been experiencing strange electrical symptoms.
-Sometimes at low RPMs the battery light will pulse on and off. If you tap the brake pedal it goes off until you release the pedal.
-At idle the lights (dome, headlights, etc) pulse, getting brighter then dimmer.
I have a steady 14.8v coming out of the alternator. And am not sure what else to check. I am pretty sure I need to replace the batteries because they are quite old, but the truck starts quickly, on the first attempt.

You might want to get your alternator tested. I got a bad one right from NAPA. I believe the voltage regulator was bad on my old alternator and the brand new alternator. That is what caused my lights to pulsate and my battery light to flicker on and off. You will most likely be able to get it tested for free if you bring it in to an auto parts store.
