Do you know if your truck is a early or late build '04?

If you are still under warranty take it to the dealer. The ICP sensor and/or connector is probably bad and needs replacement.

Thats what I expected. The ICP sensor is on the back of the motor and a pain to get to. This is a common issue with the early 6.0L's and why the ICP sensor is now on the valve cover.

Did you replace just the sensor or did it include the 3 wire pig tail, crimps/butt splices and heat shrink tube?

The three codes you listed probably popped just before she died. Two of the codes are for cylindar balance issues on 1 and 8 and the other code is for a missfire on 8.

The HEC one is new to me though.

Sounds stupid, but did you double check all your wiring and connections. Have you wiggled the connection during the time that the truck runs to see if it dies or sets the 2285 code again?
