2: what jets should i be using at an elevation at about 4000-5000 ft higher than sea level?
3: how can you tell if a power valve is broken
4: i tuned my carbs idle screws with a dwell/rpm meter. is that right?
5: around hat range will my floats be set at?
6: how do i adjust the secondaries in general?
7: will a vacuum gauge help or would the rpm meter be suffice?
THANK YOU in advance my truck is almost ready for smog, just gotta tune that carb
The rule of thumb is one jet size down per 2000 ft. But you have to play with that in most cases. Adjusting secondaries is done with changing springs. Parts & kits are available from Jegs or Summit at a good price.
