The rated stock output in a vehicle was about the same as the EFI.. 210hp.. 330lb ft TQ, but the exhaust on these truck is/was a hugh cork, so the motor will do 250-275hp with a free flowing system.

TQ is what moves a boat.. land or water based. the 351 will make 350+ lb ft TQ from below 3000rpm in this application, but the heads will be the limiting HP factor. If the marine version got better or ported heads then 300+HP is no problem.

It definatly has some power, It gets that 20 foot boat up to 60 mph pretty fast. But it also has a Viper Racing prop, im not going to go into details becuase this is a truck forum, i just wanted to see if anyone knew a ballpark estimate of the hp range. O BTW it hits 5000-5500 rpm like nothing and its screaming! lol. There was a guy out on the same lake with the same boat only with the 350 chevy i was lookin for him to race, but he ended up having to get towed in
