Anybody out there ever get through a whole box of builders staples eg. (T50)
Without throwing half the box away b/c, they are all busted apart? You have better luck handling nitro.
Or throwing them all over the floor cuz you just put one right through your finger into the wall sheeting? Ok, I was stuck to the wall and could't reach them to throw them but I would have if I could.
when I worked with my fatherinlaw we would shoot 4 or 5 boxes of 3/8 (5000 each) in a day all shot with a stanley stapler (not a powered one) so normally the boxes lasted until we were done. plus if you dropped the box and messed up the staples you got to load the little pieces in the gun.
I think they have a self destruct switch in them. I am doing a addition, and I never moved the box off the table. I wasn't halfway done with them when they became metal confetti.
I usually will throw a piece of scotch tape on them......,
But I use them in a hammer-tacker type of stapler. Uses the same staples as the T-50
Thats why I brought this up. I have been adding an addition on the homestead, and bought a big box of T50's To hammer tack the felt paper. Before I was halfway done, there was not a full sleeve of staples in the box.
I think it is cheaper in a long run to buy the small boxes.

I bought a box of 5000 or 10000, when I remodeled the first floor of our house. I still had a bunch when I re-did the roof. The tape holds very well. Yes, it is a PAIN to take all the strips out and tape them. But its eaiser than trying to feed a bunch of pieces into the stapler.
