Gauges Sticking
The gauges have recently been sticking all the way up on my F250. Every gauge sticks except for the tach and speedometer. Sometimes not all of the other gauges stick, sometimes all of them do. This happened last year, but it went away on it's own. I've also noticed that the overhead computer will say 60 miles to empty when I just filled up. It will also switch functions on it's own. When i turn the truck off I'll have it set to the outside temperature and when I turn the truck back on it'll be set to MPG.

My fuel gauge sticks every once in a while. Your problem sounds more like a ground issue. Pull off the underdash trim in front of the fuse box and look at the grounds. Make sure they are clean and tight.
