4X4 swap

Any member come up with an opinion as to which would be the best chassis for a 4X4 swap. Happed to be in area so stopped by salvage yard, did not need anything, just like to check it out like a kid in a toy store. Looking to set body of 65 F100 LB on a later model 4X4 chassis and it seemed to me the Bronco chassis may require less fabrication and not as labor intensive, thought I would check and see if any member(s) have an opinion or suggestion. While I was at it, came across a 66 F250 and when I came out must have sat in parking lot for 1/2 hour deciding whether to return to the yard, and remove the hood, and styleside tailgate that is in good condition. Got them both for good price but now have an extra set of work cloths, O'well.

Dave, I believe the mid-late 70s are considered better and your sheet metal would bolt up.

Would that be a mid 70's bronco, a truck chassis, or are they the same. Also have to find out if there were any upgrades in the mid 70's range regarding the 4X4 power trane I should take into consideration. Thanks John, appreciate the input.
