Hi 1966 f-100, Welcome to FTE.... someone will be along that can awnser the Queston. I would bet that a set from a mid 70's F100 with the same 351w Engine will fit your applacation, Not 100 % sure though
Purchased a set of Hooker long tube hedders on ebay for $46, lot of surface rust but cleaned up well, and installed them in my 65 F100 w/ a 302. Involved some minor grinding where hedder flange meets the crossmember. Not sure, thought I read a thread where member mentioned the 351 may set slightly higher than 302. I had to lift the engine slightly to install the hedders. Also, if intend power steering upgrade in future, likely will have to go w/ the 'saginaw or Ford' steering box, the Bendix would present a problem with hedder.
Gentlemen, Be careful what you post. There were no 351Ws installed in these trucks, and there are no 351W header applications available for this series truck, this forums strength is built on fact.
If you have installed a W in your truck and you found a brand name and model number that can be made to work please list is that way. These blanket post that you bought headers to fit your truck is misleading to another reader that may read it in the future.
The question has come up several times because folk like bigger in their trucks. Knowing an application that can be made to fit is a good thing when stated correctly. IMHO
Cyclone Perfomance Exhaust Systems
Part # CC10644
Description: 69-77 Ford TK 302W
(Right off the paper work that came with the headers)
1969-77 Ford Pick Up
1/2 ton only 2wd
302 windsor cubic inch engine
"Fits all models with standard and automatic transmission, power brakes, power steering and air conditioning."
"Note: automatic transmission linkage may have to be bent further away from the collector."
This paper work is from a set I purchased in 1991 to put on a 77 Ford TK with a built 69 351W with NO modifications for header install.
Check our my profile for other header posts that I have posted on.
I have put these headers on numerous Ford Trucks for the past 25 years with both 302's and 351W's.
The main issue I have had with headers is the rattle on the TRANNY crossmember, and I have modified my tranny crossmember to deal with that (check out my gallery)
I am sure that any Ford truck owner with headers, be it a 390 to a 302 has dealt with that issue as well.
