adding LS diff to 10.25 rear end

I'd be leary of it if it isn't new. The factory units wear out over time, so you don't know how many miles are on this one.
Gear ratio shouldn't matter, but carrier size might, I'm not 100% on that, so don't quote me on it.

any other guesses. anyone gone this route? i'm sure everyone will try to show me some $500 option, but for $125, seems worth a shot.
