nope.
I have a 2003 Mustang GT and the 2004+ F-150 key is different. I tried the same thing and the PATS identifiers won't cross the platforms. I've heard the Fusion and 500 keys will cross platform though. they run about $30 new, so I haven't gotten the nerve up yet to try

Pretty much all 05+ use the same key.
