Did you mean you will have it done in a few days?
Which write up are you using?
It is so late, are we the only ones up at this hour?
I am at work in E.D. of a hosp.
What are you doing up?
Fletch, I was going to install it yesterday, but it was kinda cold outside.
So I just put in Tymar intake.
I will however install and know results in 2 days or so.
Dale from Tymar perform. has sold me his HPX mod and has great install instructions that came with it.
I am working gravy so got some time on my hands.
It takes 30 minutes to do it if you don't remove anything. It takes 10 minutes if you remove the passenger side CAC tube and your intake tube. But you lose the time removing and re-installing all that too, so it's pretty much a push. By removing all that I was able to tighten and torque my fittings much better (as well as get all the oil off the CAC tubes).
The morning idle is much quieter and I think it idles a little quieter when warmed up too. Not much in the performance category but it's more of a longevity mod. Now that both sides will always be at the same pressure the engine should run a little smoother, a little happier and hopefully a little longer.
Next is my ITP in-tank kit I bought myself for Christmas! I will miss the loud rattle but my injectors will be so much happier...
i just threw out my tymar directions today. i can dig em out and scan them if you want. but basically all you need to do is move the drivers side hpo line towards the front of the motor one hole. and then run the line from the pass side to drivers side in front of the turbo. tymars come with instructions. doesnt take long at all.

You through out the instructions? I don't understand the statement. I still have report cards from junior high. I might need them someday. You never know.
Yes, please scan and post, scan and PM me, or send the instructions to me. I'm sure I can find or set up a file for them.
My wish-list and "How-To-Do" manual are increasing once again. No cure for PMS, but then again, who wants a cure?
Please give me a quick clue on mod never heard of this one. CAC tubes?
Thanks
Charge Air Cooler (CAC) tubes are your metal intercooler pipes from the turbo outlet to intercooler (Ford calls it a charge air cooler) and from the intercooler outlet to the inlet plenum on the engine block. Since the CCV vents back into the intake it is common for the boots that clamp to these pipes to leak oil whick builds up on your intake (CAC) pipes over time and becomes a nasty, oily, slimy, grimy mess.
The HPX crossover equalizes the oil pressure between the two sides of the engine so that all injectors are being controlled with the same oil pressure (eliminates the pressure differential and uneven injector control between the two sides of the engine).

I bought mine from ITP Diesel. There are a few different ones out there but I figured I'd get the longest life out of a stainless steel pipe.
