Hardcore inliners
I happened to come across this info and thought I would share it. I went to venom-performance.com by chance looking for nitro applications for my 300 (87-96 models)and guess what I found it. They have a computer controlled nitros system that can be ajusted from 25-180 hp shot and claims it will shut down if something isn't right with the engine. Also they have high flow injectors although I think the 19lbs injector swap others have done around here would be better. They also have high flow fuel pumps which may do the trick for the above injectors in getting the most out of the swap. And to get real technical they have a venom 400 performance module that supposedly reads sensors and adjusts the computer accordingly (if I am not mistaken you can also adjust this somewhat manually I could be wrong, I would think this would help a great deal with any and all modifications). This site did not have prices that I could see yet I did find one that did:
computerized venom nitros system $1250 (expensive but it may be the last thing you would have to do for a nice daily driver)
Hi-flow injectors $45 each
venom 400 performance module $292 (not bad compared to a chip)
Hi-flow fuel pumps this site did not have a price for these.
For the serious inliner or someone with money to burn I think this would be ideal modifications as far as bolt on (you could give any and all a run for their money). Check this out and let me know what you think. I have yet to deal with nitros but have been told the 300 would be an ideal candidate. Thanks, all responses appreciated.
