To add to the carnage, I have a fast oil leak. It looks like it coming from above the pan gasket right by the starter. No oil in engine valley or anywhere on top, there is oil on my down pipe. Help
I took some pics, but it's hard too see.
The oil that leaked on the driveway... at high idle for 15 min.
A pic of "area" where the oil seams to be coming from.
I "think" I just fixed an oil leak with similar symptoms. Oil leaking down the front passenger side of the pan and onto the starter. I turned out that the bolt in the ICP port (on the passenger side) was not snugged down at all.
I wasn't getting much of a leak, just a couple drops each night on the driveway.
It was a bear to track down, at first I thought it might be fuel leaking from the fuel port back by the downpipe.
You might start there and make sure that bolt' (plug) is snugged down.

Did you work on the ICP or did it just show up. The last mod I did was the stancor GPR. I don't know if it has anything to do with the accident I was in, but i worries me. Here is the accident post
its a leak from the valey. grab a flashlight and climb on, look in there and see if oil is in the rear of the whole valey. if its fuel check drain valve . if its oil might be turbo pedestal , EBPV , HPOP , you have to look. and give us more details. but make sure about one thing, go back to the place that give you estimate and point it out to them, they will pay for this too.

I think it may be the turbo pedestal, I see oil flowing down over a white piece. If it is the turbo pedestal what does it mean? Help. Truck goes to the shop tomarrow. Where is the HPOP?

No work on the ICP, it's not actually on the ICP, it was coming from the bolt in the same port on the opposite head -- the passenger side head back by the turbo downpipe.
If you haven't replaced your turbo o-rings it's likely them. There's two pairs of o-rings, one set for the turbo and another for the pedestel.
HPOP is under the plastic powerstroke cover on the top of the motor thats you HPOP reservior, and the pump itself is just under your fuel filter.you can see it if you look under the filter housing.,
and like Craig said if its you turbo pedestal, you have to remove the turbo and pedestal to fix it. you need 4 o-rings to do it.
Update: Trucks out of the body shop, to another shop to work on the oil leak (I don't have time to do it). Latest is after the frame was straightened and I got it back, we can get it to leak oil. Weird huh. It's coming apart anyway. Is there any other places the turbo could leak oil from than the EBPV and pedistal o-rings?
