FREDERIC!! That is easily the most awesome truck I have ever seen!!! Whose truck is it?
I was about to say I have no idea since I only bookmarked the picture, but TomToc posted the link it came from so that's great.
I often bookmark just pictures for later downloading but I never seem to get to downloading them lol.
I think it's a darn cool truck for sure, and I'd be really interested in seeing the frame - whether built from scratch, came off say an F450 or F500 type thing with straight rails, or of it's just extended.
Like I said earlier I'll probably never build one, but at some point I will be extended the length to my current crewcab - so I can tack on the extended cab section behind my rear crewcab doors - no jump seats planned. This way I'll have seating for five comfortably and have a place to create inside storage that's useful. While the bedbox I have is great, I'd like to remove that and weld together a headache rack and have full access to the bed. A couple of times I've hauled home machinery and with the bedbox, I'm not getting the massive weight centered over the rear axle, making for a bouncy, squirrely commute home. Add to that filling the bed with sand or gravel, getting that stuff out from under the bedbox is a REAL pain.
Though I can solve that with a dump bed. The next time I see a hydraulic cylinder and pump in the junkyard worth a darn I'll see if they'll take my coffee can of quarters
That really ain't my thing, but it's still a cool truck and great craftsmanship. I just don't think it could articulate much and go as many places as some trail rigs..
