i wish that they had a wrecker down here in texas like that one, im lucky if they have two to choose from. that is if you can find one that will let you even go back to the lot..i guess that the lawyers have made scavenging almost absolete..... you know with liability. at the one lot you can go back, you have to sign a waiver releasing them from liability... yes it does suck that you can not go back there...
Yeah I meant to make a thread... I recently went to my first junkyard, a Pick-n-pull to be exact. Only had a couple trucks from this era, not NEARLY as many as you franken (not fair). But yeah, being my first time... It depressed me... Hahaha. I felt like kind of a sissy feeling depressed from seeing all the crushed Ford trucks Oh well.
That extended cab F250 looks perfect! I would snag that one if i was near there, it (looks) nice and solid! Im guessing a grenaded engine? take the 460 from the other truck and be good to go.
yeah that is one of the sections for "save for a later date" it was in ok condition. some holes in the floor and maybe the rocker, but other then that it was in good overall shape. didn't get to open the hood though, i saw another truck i wanted to look at.
Most of the yards down here in Jersey, all the Trucks always seem to be stripped by the time I get to them. 1 of my fav yards just cleaned out every car and got all new ones in. It was wierd seeing all the cars gone.
